This 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ70 is a short-wheelbase example that was imported to the United States from Venezuela in 2021 and acquired by me in 2022. In February 2024, it was professionally retrofitted with a 2.8-liter Cummins R2.8 turbodiesel inline-four by Goode’s Off Road in Rowlett, Texas. The truck is finished in silver over brown vinyl and patterned tan cloth and is equipped with the factory H55F five-speed manual transmission, dual-range transfer case, split rear doors, lifted suspension, white-finished 15” wheels, air conditioning, and a Toyota CD stereo. 
 
The Cummins R2.8 installation has transformed the driving experience, delivering strong, smooth diesel power with excellent highway capability while retaining the mechanical character that makes the 70-series so special. 
Under my ownership, significant mechanical work has been completed to ensure reliability and peace of mind: 
February 2024: Transmission, differentials, and transfer case serviced
July 2024: Clutch replaced
August 2024: EGR valve replaced
October 2024: ECM and wiring harness replaced
March 2025: A/C compressor replaced
August 2025: Upgraded radiator fan installed and oil change performed
October 2025: Battery replaced

2009 Toyota Land Cruiser 4WD with just 177k miles on it. Engine just getting broken in. This thing is a tank. Clean title. Great
service history. Has all the extras - navigation, backup camera, DVD rear seat entertainment, heated seats, roof rack, third row
seating, alloy wheels, JBL Sound, wood grain trim, all weather mats, keyless entry, steering wheel controls, towing pkg, and roof
rack. Enough room for the whole football or baseball team. Land Crushers are difficult to find.

Features: third-row seating, heated seats, moonroof (motor does not work), center diff lock, factory alloy wheels, tow hitch with
receiver, roof rails, running boards, WeatherTech liners front and rear, 6-disc CD changer. Kumho tires with good tread.



History: 53 documented service records on CARFAX. Two owners before us  Florida through 2003, then a single Illinois owner who
used the same shop for two decades. Timing belt and tensioner at 229k. Front and rear shocks at 247k. Alignment and steering shaft
at 249k. A/C compressor and full brake job at 216k, alternator at 218k, spark plugs and serpentine belt at 223k, tires at 233k,
intake manifold gaskets and sway bar links at 235k. Toyota dealer inspection June 2024.



We bought it in 2025 and put about 4,000 miles on it  local errands, never worked hard. Selling due to an out of state move.



Condition, please read: Sold as is. Rear brakes need service  pads, rotors, likely a caliper  and the truck is currently parked
pending that work, so no road test. Youre welcome to come start it and hear it run. Has some undercarriage rust.
